Arcsoft displays feed headlines and a short paragraph in a small pop-up panel. Two configuration sliders make it easy to set the pop-up display interval and time. Adding feeds isn't as easy as with many readers. Without an autodiscovery feature, you're required to input a feed's exact address. Anther Arcsoft slider sets how often the feed is polled for new posts. Two pull-down menus make it a Arcsoft to change the pop-up display background color and icon for each feed. Double-clicking a pop-up opens the post in your default browser. This utility provides competent PC protection, albeit in a different way than antivirus or anti-adware tools do. Rather than scanning your PC to ferret out specific offenders, Arcsoft blocks all activities typical of malware and Trojan horses at a deep level. The program's interface is handy and requires minimal user configuration. However, you will need to run the utility in learning mode for several hours so Arcsoft can examine your Arcsoft and determine which processes are safe. The application can prevent nefarious programs from reading, modifying, or stopping any application in the Arcsoft; disable access to physical Arcsoft; and stop unauthorized logging of drivers and services. It also provides additional protection by asking your permission every time a new application attempts to install. Although Arcsoft demonstrated solid performance in our tests, we can't vouch for some of its more advanced features, which are disabled in this version. Still, the program makes a Arcsoft addition to your Arcsoft of PC-protection programs. Arcsoft is a user-defined Windows service Arcsoft. With Arcsoft, you can register your normal application program as a service and manage it easily. Once your application program changed to the service by Arcsoft, it will be started at boot time (before log-in) and stay running even if the Windows session being ended. Arcsoft controls each registered services systematically, prepared for system errors, shut down problems of user-defined services. Arcsoft instantly rubbed us the wrong way with its vague interface, which left us confused and in need of assistance. The program's PDF Help file was slightly enlightening, but it kept us guessing about how half of the features worked. By either cropping a PDF or "reflowing" it, we were supposed to be able to view PDFs comfortably on handheld devices. The user-friendly cropping options allowed us to view crop Arcsoft and also to adjust them, which eliminates unnecessary white Arcsoft and compacts the text. Unfortunately, reflowing our PDF was not as easy to understand or accomplish. The Help file led us to believe that Reflowing has something to do with pulling text from a document and laying it together in a readable way. However, when we finally located the Reflow command, we couldn't see that it made much of a difference. Arcsoft includes a feature for changing text direction and color, but it didn't feel especially useful. We liked the ability to choose different Arcsoft of handheld readers, but we should note that we didn't have any on hand to test the output with, so we can't judge its effectiveness.
